Our classes are for adults of all ages, primarily women, who are looking for a fun, inviting, non-judgmental atmosphere where dance, fitness and arts reign.

We provide a variety of classes from dance to fitness as part of our regularly scheduled classes, along with special classes & workshops.


Afro Caribbean Afro-Caribbean

From West Africa to the Caribbean to the United States – African and Caribbean dance has had an influence on many of the dances that we see and do today. In this class you will learn traditional African and Caribbean dance movements. The class is open to all levels.

Afrobeats, also called Afropop, as a genre has grown tremendously over the past decade due to the globalization of both Afrobeat and Hip Hop. Afrobeats dance fuses traditional and modern African dances from the continent with Hip Hop, R&B, House, Jamaican DanceHall, and other styles. Participants will learn basic foundational movements in addition to modern dance steps from around the African continent and the Diaspora. All levels are welcome!

Ballet (Intro.)

Introduction to Ballet is the perfect class for the person with little or no dance training.  Every class begins with a 15 minute floor barre to help you strengthen the muscles needed to stay in correct alignment.  Following the barre, we will move to the ballet barre and center floor to learn to perform traditional ballet movements with poise and grace.

Have you ever thought about taking a ballet class, but didn’t want to be the only adult (other than the instructor) in the room? Well have no fear, your adult only ballet class is here!  Come and experience the benefits of ballet. Develop strength, coordination, improve posture and flexibility via barre and floor work.

Bollywood Dance Photo Bollywood

A vibrant and entertaining dance that is suitable for beginners. It gives a whole body workout while dancing to the rhythm of joy with the powerful nature of Bollywood music. Bollywood dance is a blend of Indian Classical and folk dance with elements of hip-hop, Latin, jazz, modern, and bellydance.  This is a fun, high energy, and upbeat dance style that has become very popular around the world.

Diaspora Moves

This class offers contemporary & modern technique fused with movements from the African diaspora (West Africa, the Caribbean and the Latin diaspora) for a well rounded experience, sure to work your body and make you feel great. The class is open to all levels and will vary in tempo depending on the cultural region of the movement.

A high energy, dance fitness class set to “make you move” Latin rhythms with the use of resistance band to build strength and tone. Come ready to dance, sweat and tone!

Body Conditioning

This 45 minute class consists of various floor barre exercises to strengthen, tone, and increase both dynamic and static flexibility. This workout is perfect for those who desire low impact activity but still want to feel the burn or dancers that may be recovering from injury. Mats are used.


Dance fitness class for those who love to move, but at a slower pace.  This class provides a low impact workout perfect for beginners or people with limited mobility. The easy-to-follow moves are gently delivered at a moderate tempo and provide a variety of movement styles that will help gain mobility, strength and flexibility while improving memory, balance and sharpening reflexes.


A one hour, mat based stretch/flexibility class suitable for all experience levels from the very novice to the advanced practitioner. This full body stretching class with total body benefits is designed to awaken, engage, challenge, stretch, tone and lengthen.

Gentle Flow Yoga

A relaxing yoga class that combines slow yoga movement with mindfulness practices . Suited for all levels. This class will help you release stress, increase your flexibility, deepen your concentration, and gain understanding of your body alignment ending in a deep state of relaxation.

Hip Hop Cardio

This class takes standard hi/lo aerobic moves and gives  them a bit or an upbeat urban flavor. Set to hip-hop music, the class will give you a workout and a bit of a dance lesson.  Develop better coordination, rhythm and flexibility while toning and strengthening.

Let’s Groove

The Warm-Up utilizes breath and movement through sequences that activate core strength and balance while improving flexibility and coordination. The Main portion of the class uses continuous, engaging dance combinations to inspire anyone from first-time dancers to professionals. Finally, the Cool Down brings your workout full circle.


TonIC© (Toning and Interval Cardio) mixes calisthenics and body with exercises with cardio, dance, and strength training to tone muscle, build strength and burn fat all while jamming to great R&B and Pop music.  Join us for your shot of TonIC©.

Vinyasa Yoga Downward DogYoga Flow

An energizing yoga class that syncs breath with movement to create a flow that delivers a full body workout. Suited for all levels. This class will help you increase your flexibility, gain strength, improve your balance and release toxins while leaving you relaxed and revitalized every time.


Zumba© features exotic rhythms set to high energy Latin and international beats.  You will burn tons of calories having fun dancing salsa, merengue, samba, soca and more.  The routines include interval training via a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.


babywearingMoving Mamas

Moving Mamas is a gentle dance class centered around the needs of expecting and new mamas. Moving Mamas will guide mamas through a full-bodied practice that will incorporate physical fitness, mindfulness, and creative expression. This class is open to expecting mamas and mamas of infants. This is a babywearing-friendly class.


Join our Instructor for a happy hour for you and your baby. Sing, dance and play as you bond with your child.  Moving, grooving, and growing for mom (or dad) and me.  Created by Zumba® and BabyFirst for kids ages 0-4, the Zumbini® program combines music, dance and educational tools for 45 minutes of can’t-stop, won’t-stop bonding, learning, and fun!  Caregiver participation is required.

6-week ballet session June 13th – July 25th (with the exception of July 4th). Classes every Tuesday at 11:30am.  $75 for the session. $15 drop-in rate.
